Frequently asked questions

How do I add a stock?

Tap + › Add Stock, search by symbol or company name (for example AI.PA or Air Liquide), then enter the number of shares.

How do I see my gain since purchase?

Open a holding, tap Add Purchase Price (or ⋯ › Edit Position) and enter your average price per share, in the stock's trading currency, as shown by your broker.

How do I add cash?

Tap + › Add Cash. Cash counts in your total value.

Why don't prices match my broker exactly?

Prices come from a public market-data source and can be delayed by up to about 15 minutes depending on the exchange. They are indicative only and are not investment advice.

How do I add a widget?

Touch and hold your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget, then search for StockPeep. Lock Screen widgets hide the currency by default; you can change this in Settings.

How do I get alerts?

Open Settings (gear icon) › Notifications and turn on Important News and/or Big Daily Moves. Alerts are checked in the background a few times a day, so they can arrive with some delay.

My Apple Watch shows nothing

Add holdings on your iPhone first and make sure iCloud is enabled for StockPeep on both devices; the watch syncs through your private iCloud.

How do I delete my data?

Delete your holdings in the app or delete the app. To remove the synced copy, delete StockPeep's data in Settings › Apple Account › iCloud. See the Privacy Policy.
